Recruiting and Screening
The recruiting efforts in local branch offices are supported centrally by our in-house ad agency with strategic planning, media buying, design, copy writing and trend analysis. We also offer a number of standard and customized screening programs to ensure a quality job match.

Orientation and Onboarding
We help ensure job readiness through a new employee orientation, offered in multiple languages if necessary, and upon request, a tour of the facility and job training.

Search & Retrieval
Our coordinators at local and regional branch offices, as well as those at our Central Operations call center, work closely together. This infrastructure is fully computerized to increase efficiency, to permit quick skills search and to share the workforce pool among facilities. Information about the candidates' skills and experiences are available at the touch of a key to any coordinator who is filling your positions. Our computerized matching system is fed specific details of the job definitions at your facility and then targets those candidates most likely to perform well.

Certified Staffing Professionals
All of our staffing professionals are certified in Staffing Operations. They attend a comprehensive training course focusing on Recruiting, Operations, Customer Service, Legal, Workers' Compensation, Payroll and Advertising. Their certification is renewed each year based on two things: (1) their on-going education efforts; and (2) overall score from a job review of their policies, procedures and practices.

Doherty supports each staffing program with extensive backup including: the account management and service team, the centralized operations center, our pre-screening call center and our corporate resources in employee safety, training, communications, customized reporting, human resources and employment law.
